The key to a good band is effective rehearsal.  The following guidelines are important to having a productive rehearsal everyday.  Please take a moment to go over the following with your child. 

1.   Enter the rehearsal area in an orderly manner.

2.   Be ready to start at the tardy bell.  Be in place with music and all equipment or you will be counted late to class.\

3.   DO NOT warm-up on your own.  We will warm-up as a class.

4.   When the director is on the podium, it is time to work.

5.   Class is not over until you are dismissed.

6.  All music and equipment must be put away after each rehearsal or performance.

7.  You are responsible for all music and equipment issued to you.

 8.  Do not use any school equipment without permission.

Failure to follow the rehearsal guidelines will result in a less than productive rehearsal.  Disciplinary actions may be taken against any student who does not follow these guidelines.  Please help us to ensure that every member of the band is allowed to learn.
