  Discipline Policy  

It's all about Respect...

1. Aledo Middle School Student Code of Conduct will be followed at all times.

2. If a student misbehaves during class, a verbal warning will be issued. Further bad behavior or consistent warnings will result in parent contact and a band detention.

3. If poor behavior persists, the student’s citizenship grade may be lowered to an “N” or “U”.

4. Directors have the authority to assign a student a detention or fill out a written referral without verbal warning. (i.e. fighting, insubordination, foul language, public displays of affection)

NOTE: It is the policy of the Aledo Middle School Band to contact a parent the same day a detention is issued. Parents who choose to protest should contact the director who issued the detention.
